Good Times in the Vines

Tucked away on a quiet road is the cutest house, our stay at Flamingo House was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Delicious downtime consisted of reading on the deck, grazing on cheese and olives by the fire and nature walks.

When we wanted a change of pace we spent the day cruising around the stunning countryside filled with views of vines and dotted with award winning cellar doors. We sipped our way around Pokolbin, stopping for long lunches and cheese tastings.

An indulgent few days and the perfect mix of food, wine and nature.

One of the best dining experiences in Pokolbin. A divine menu of French inspired food accompanied by flawless hospitality and a stunning, light filled courtyard. Ask for a seat outside with a view and bask in the sunshine while you devour your meal.

The Hunter Valley Wine is Australia's oldest wine region and is famous for its Semillion, Shiraz, Chardonnay and Cab Sav. There's a beautiful mix of large and smaller family owned vineyards and you hop from between cellar doors for a lovely day of wine tasting.
