When arriving at Tree Frog Cottage, we were instantly welcomed by Bluey, the border collie that lives on the property. Walking into the home, the first thing you notice is the beautiful natural light, which made the timber interior so vibrant. Our 9 month old loved the spacious lounge room to explore, as well as the views from the balcony. The house is surrounded by native plants and trees, which was such a beautiful touch.
This was the perfect secluded getaway – close enough to the beach and town center for a coffee or even some fresh seafood, but far enough away for us to appreciate the isolation. Truly a special place.
We found the time to head west to The Twelve Apostles, which was a first for all 3 of us, and also a must for anyone who hasn't yet visited! Once there, we could easily see why it is regarded as one of the 7 Wonders of Australia.
The scenic drive to Twelve Apostles is a short yet captivating drive. Being completely surrounded by forests had us truly appreciating the Australian landscape a whole lot more.
