Cosy Fire-lit Cabin Among the Trees

Gullyview Cottage is the perfect place to revitalise. In less than a 2-hour drive from Melbourne, you will find yourself in the foothills of Victoria's Great Dividing Range. The cottage is a short walk to Daylesford's town centre and is tucked away in a quiet spot surrounded by trees and wildlife.

We decided to spend some time sampling the finest natural wine, food and coffee at the local restaurants, bars and cafes as well as visiting the local walking trails, wineries and spas. After a day of activities, the cottage was a sanctuary to unwind in. Taking a relaxing spa bath by candlelight, roasted marshmallows in the fireplace and had a picnic in the garden, keeping an eye out for the local wildlife.

When the day was done, we fell asleep to the soothing crackle of the fireplace and woke up to the kookaburra's morning laugh as we sipped freshly brewed coffee on the sun-kissed porch.
