Greeted by many birds chirping, kangaroos watching and sheep grazing, we immediately felt relaxed on the Hide & Seek property. Our self-contained glamping hut was situated beautifully by the Goulburn River, with a little sandy beach and fire pit. We were glad to have a gorgeous deck and sun lounges to enjoy the view, read a book and disconnect from the outside world.

The hut was uniquely designed and made on-site, with my favourite feature being the huge glass panels on the roof. Snuggled up in our soft sheets, we laid in bed and stargazed for hours. I saw so many shooting stars, I actually didn’t want to close my eyes to sleep.

Waking nice and early to the natural sunlight warming up the hut, was the perfect way to begin our morning. A 4km nature walk that begins right near our hut, was our first adventure for the day. Further down the property, we later borrowed some kayaks and paddled through the water lilies. Since we couldn’t get enough of the water, we also went fishing later in the afternoon which was a lot of fun and we didn’t even have to leave! Our stay was pure bliss.
