This area is home to Australia's oldest lighthouse which was built in 1848. Previously used for navigating ships as well as coastal radar communications during WW2, the historic site is now a vantage point for land-based whale watching as migrating whales swim close to shores during winter and spring. Featuring a scenic drive, stunning coastal views and a famous scone from the Lighthouse Café, this was a great way to spend a day and is a must-visit during your coastal getaway.
