Take it all in at The Blowhole

When I saw 'blowhole' I innocently expected massive amounts of water gushing out of the ground at random moments. So I'm here to tell you that that is NOT the only type of blowhole apparently. This one was artificially built by gold miners in the early 1870s to divert the water away from the original creek line. Accessed via a short scenic walk from the carpark, it was such a relaxing spot to sit and unwind from the day's activities.
