Introducing Tiger House Hermitage. A luxury, alternative, nature retreat and hermitage.
Tiger House is a converted 110 year old green concrete barn house, covered in Ivy and set in the lush countryside just 3km from Havelock North village.
I have been converting this beautiful old barn since spring 2018.
With its indoor fire, outdoor bath, fully equipped kitchen, big walk-in dressing-room and quirky European country fit out, Tiger House is something quite special.

My dream to transform this beautiful old barn into a place of relaxation, peace, creativity and lourve!
‘Tiger House’ sits on a hill under huge old trees, teeming with bird life and sweeping views over Hawkes bay.
All day sun, quiet and private, snowcapped mountains on the horizon, a beautiful sunset and big night sky.
Come and lay in the outdoor bath under the stars, cook great food in the fully equipped kitchen, sunbath by the pool, light the fire, read and chill.

I have also converted the stables as a second bedroom. It’s a separate outhouse from the main barn and guests share the bathroom in the main barn, so it is only rented as an extension to your booking - A cozy and cute little sleep out for an additional couple or friends!

Pets not really allowed inside please, but there is a kennel if you want to bring your furry friend and keep it in there? The property isn't fenced for dogs, and we have other farms animals on the property so do take care if they tend to stray...

You’ll have the barn to yourself. The barn sits up the very back of our large family property just 3km from Havelock North village. Its is accessed by its own entrance and driveway.
Its totally private, though we are around if you need us.

Locally grown and sourced food provisions are provided for a fresh yummy breakfast during your stay. This takes the hassle out of picking these things up en route, and is included in the cleaning costs of your stay.
