We're also powered by solar, catch our own rain water in brand new tanks and supply a solar powered EV charger for your electric vehicle during your stay!

You'll enjoy city views from every room and your own personal veranda, complete with a rustic chiminea & rocking chairs.

The main floor bedroom has stunning views from a charming queen bed and direct access to the verandah. The roomy second bedroom on the upper floor includes two comfortable double beds and both bedrooms contain split system heating/cooling and ceiling fans. All beds consist of top selling Koala mattresses & quality linens for a comfy nights sleep.

The Hurstbridge Train Station is 12 minutes drive away. There is private parking in our guest carpark at the top of the property and we are central to majority of the Yarra Valley highlights and wineries!
Other things to note:
We provide a 10% discount for 4 nights or more & a 15% discount for bookings of 7 nights or more.

We have over 22 acres of rolling paddocks, dams & forest, beautiful rescue geese, ducks, chickens & Farm Cat Boots. We are surrounded by local wildlife - kangaroos, wombats, echidnas and deer on the property as well as Wreck It Ralph - Our favorite terrorist of a Kookaburra, watch out for him coming into your room and stealing your food!

Our stay at Duck’n Hill Barn was excellent. The property was tranquil and well-maintained, with thoughtful instructions provided for arrival and check-in. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, ...and we appreciated the eco-conscious water system. The hosts were responsive and welcoming, and we especially enjoyed the natural surroundings and visits from Boots the 🐈 . We highly recommend this property for a peaceful countryside retreat.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

My husband and I stayed in The Barn. From the moment we unlocked the rustic wooden door we were in awe. The place was spotless and immaculate, yet homely, tastefully deorated and furnished, boasting a... well-equipped kitchen and gravced with cosy touches like multiple throw rugs, little vases of flowers, candles, and (BONUS!) a basket of complimentary snacks with a hand-chalked blackboard sign telling us to help ourselves.
The place was so inviting that we spent more time than expected on the property itself, alternating between lounging indoors and exploring the paddocks where we were greeted by two Scottish Highland cows, a dozen or so geese, a giant wombat, kangaroos, ducks, chickens, and of course the owner's resident cat, Boots.
Although the view was sensational, we managed to drag ourselves off for half a day to nearby Healesville which was quaint and full of character. But the lure of The Barn meant only a little exploring out and about was needed.

If you're looking for the perfect balance of something tranquil, rustic but well-equipped, with a gorgeous view, and a host who goes out of her way to appease, then Duck'n Hill Barn ticks all the boxes.
Definitely five stars!

Duck'n Hill Farm was established in December 2020. Extensive restorative renovations on the accommodations, landscaping and plumbing, electrical & solar were undertaken and the Duck'n Hill Barn was launched in November 2021 with the Cottage & Loft launching by October 2022. It's a stunning property surrounded by nature, wildlife and views of the Yarra Valley through to Melbourne CBD. We hope you love it as much as we do!

This place is perfect for everyone who loves great wine with a relaxed atmosphere.

Tash took us through a tasting of their entire wine list. We enjoyed hearing about the team behind Yarrawood and the process of winemaking. She also was giving us great insight into the sweet life of country living.

Good chats, friendly staff, awesome wine - what more could you want.
