Welcome to our cedar cabin in the woods. Direct access to trails, lakes, and rivers. Literally, hundreds of trails for outdoor enthusiasts to walk, hike, single-track, forage, etc., and yet only 30 miles from Seattle. And don't forget to explore the local shops, wineries, breweries, restaurants, museums, Legendary Snoqualmie Falls in North Bend, and the nearby town of Snoqualmie. This is a separate studio cabin, that shares a fenced yard with the main house. Furry Friend Friendly

This is a small studio cabin, equipped with all the basics for simple cooking and needs.

The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Walking, running, biking, and kids are all part of the neighborhood. There is parking for one vehicle in front of the cabin, if you have multiple cars, let us know, and we will accommodate

Additional Information

Your furry friend (no more than 2) are welcome if they are well-mannered, stay off the furniture & bed, and you clean up after them. An additional $25 per pet per stay is required. Humans will be charged $10 per pile of puppy poo found after you check out. AND, we do have wild animals, so don't leave pets unsupervised in the yard.

The backyard, fire pit, and hammock are shared with guests in the main cabin. If guests are in both spaces, dogs must be leashed in the yard.

Fires in the fire pit are super fun -- and we live in a wooded area, so fire bans must be followed. Many times the ban does not include small recreational fires, but please check for fire ban restrictions and respect them.

Please place used bedding and towels on the bathroom floor, and lock doors and windows when you check out. Thanks!

This one bedroom converted space was super modern and actually quite spacious! Deb, the property owner, was very communicative and helpful. You’re so close to biking, hiking and swimming at Rattlesnake recreation area and other nearby parks - the adventure options are truly endless!

Riding Palouse Cascades State Park Trail

After parking at either the Rattlesnake Lake Recreation area or nearby Cedar Falls Trailhead, you can hop on the Palouse Cascades State Park Trail system. This 250-mile trail runs all the way from North Bend to the Columbia River near Vantage, WA. Hikers, bikers and even equestrians, in certain sections, are able to enjoy this trail system. With access points and trailheads every few miles, it's easy to explore in sections or as a long-distance hiking or biking trip. Parking at both locations can be limited on the weekends and a Discovery Pass is required at Cedar Falls Trailhead, or a day pass can be purchased for $10. There is no fee to park at Rattlesnake Lake Recreation Area.

A Perfect Spot To Sup

Paddling in crystal clear, emerald green water is the perfect way to cool off after hiking the infamous Rattlesnake Ledge, or for anyone looking for a more relaxing way to spend a hot summer day. Motorized boats are not allowed on this lake so SUP, kayakers or anyone with a floaty can enjoy without having to worry about the waves! Fishing is allowed, so be sure to bring your pole as you float around the lake, or you can cast out from one of the many access points along the shore. Parking is free but limited, especially on the weekends.

Rattlesnake Ledge

This nice moderate hike on a well maintained, albeit busy trail through the forest with views of the Cedar River watershed, Mount Si, Mount Washington, Rattlesnake Lake and Chester Morse Lake. Approx 3 miles round trip. You have access to this trail from the backyard of the cabin.

18 Holes Of Disc Golf

South Fork Landing Disc Golf Course is a public, 18-hole course with beautiful views of Mt. Si. The park is free to use and with a variety of features - a sand bunker, pond and large evergreen trees - it's great for players of all ages and skill levels. Disc sets are available to rent for $5 at the General Store, located on the east side of the park if you don't have your own. You can download a course map from the park's website or take a picture with your phone of the map located at hole one.

Snoqualmie Falls Trail

This gorgeous waterfalls shares the same parking lot as Salish Spa. It was a very rainy day, and we wanted to go see waterfalls but not have to hike miles to get to one. This place is amazing because you can park and walk a minute down the path to get to the view. There are trails that take you lower if you wish, but it was a beautiful place, even from the top when it was raining.

Aroma Cafe

With an exciting menu featuring seasonal drinks and craft syrups, this coffee shop is my new favourite spot on the east side. Try the wild orange latte, or branch out with rosemary. This spot feels contemporary-chic but also minimal, and the staff is very friendly. Everything is locally sourced, including the syrups (made from scratch, of course).
