Hillview is part of Halls on Falls Homestead, 90 minute's drive north of Melbourne either up the Hume Fwy or Melba Hwy. We welcome families, groups and can also accommodate equine groups, horse enthusiasts and their horses. We offer weekend or weekly accommodation in our 3 bedroom house which can accommodate 8 guests (16 guests if you book Stringybark and Hillview) Ideally suited to special catch ups with friends and family. Enjoy the peaceful, natural surrounds and beautiful scenery. We do not allow events and have a quiet time between 10pm and 8 am.
THE SPACE
The homestead is set amongst tranquil gardens and has a swimming pool available during the summer months. A BBQ under the shady gazebo, is at your disposal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a Basketball ring & small cricket pitch, and a dedicated horse arena for use with guest horses, as well as horse paddocks for guests' horses.

Additional Information
On the homestead, we use sustainable energy to produce our own electricity, harnessing solar power. We are completely off grid. Electricity is generated on sunny days, so please be aware of your energy use on overcast days. Our water comes from captured rain water. When using water for showers, flushing the toilet and using power, please be mindful of our natural resources and how limited they are.

If you only book Hillview, there may be other guests in Stringybark at the same time as you, depending upon bookings.
Guest numbers are capped at a maximum of 8 people - please do not invite additional people to visit for the day or stay the night, unless arranged with prior approval.
No shoes on carpeted areas
No glass in the pool area.
A rural property comes with additional risks such as farm dams, livestock, wildlife and snakes active from September to March. Therefore, children must be kept under constant supervision during your stay.
Please park in the dedicated parking areas and not on grassed areas, leaving internal roads clear for access.

Mt Buggery is opposite our property and is waiting to be climbed by you. The views from the top are amazing and well worth the climb. There is no dedicated path, you can choose how to go. Dog friendly.
Bring Your Best Friend On Holiday With You
We have a dedicated horse arena for your use and lots of paddocks to choose from in which to put your best friend/s, including one that can be 'hot'. You can ride out directly from our property or float to the location of your choice.
Kangaroos Wombats Birdlife And Flora
You will never be disappointed if you like to photograph birdlife and wildlife even the flora.....we have mobs of kangaroos on our property daily, as well as 2-3 resident wombats and more birdlife than you can imagine.
