What an epic spot! We absolutely loved the view overlooking the water… watching the sunrise and sunset was absolute magic! The house was set up with everything we needed for a relaxing stay, we enjoye...d having a spa in the evening and cheese platters out on the deck.
We got the chance to go out on the snorkel tour one morning (the hosts also own the local dive/snorkel shop) and experience the stunning coastline and sealife of Hahei.
Hahei is a great holiday destination with lots to do and we highly recommend staying at Hahei Heights for a memorable vacation.

Hike Down To Cathedral Cove

Cathedral Cove is one of the most picturesque spots in Coromandel. Parking is available on Lee’s Road. Hike 30 minutes to the cove. Admire the stunning natural formations on arrival and what feels like an untouched beach reachable only by foot or boat.

Beer And Food At The Pour House

After a long day of adventuring, head to the Pour House and grab yourself a craft beer (brewed on-site) and some delicious pizzas!

Go Snorkelling

We joined a kayaking tour in Hahei to explore the iconic Cathedral Cove by sea. The 3-hour tour took us along the coastline to Cathedral Cove where we stopped for some photos, a swim and a coffee before kayaking out to Motueka island and back to Hahei. This was an awesome way to explore the area!

Sunrise At Cathedral Cove

Hugely popular, especially in summer, Cathedral Cove is one of the Coromandel's most iconic locations. We decided to walk here in the dark and were rewarded with a gorgeous sunrise on the rarely empty beach.
