Blue Lotus Water Garden

I've always wanted to check out this place - 14 acres of water gardens filled with gorgeous lotus flowers and waterlilies. I could have spent all day in here!

Oshannassy Trail

The O’Shannassy Trail is a 30 kilometre walking and bike-riding trail from East Warburton to Don Valley in the Upper Yarra Valley.
The trail runs in alongside the Warburton Rail Trail, however, the O’Shannassy Trail is set into the mountain ranges, and provides a different viewpoint to the landscape. Surrounded by tall trees, and lush ferns, the trail follows the historic open channelled O’Shannassy Aqueduct, and allows for impressive views of the Yarra Valley.
La La Falls

La La Falls

Follow the track through tall Mountain Ash forest and lush ferny glades, to the picturesque La La Falls. The track has a moderate grade, which can be slightly challenging; allow 1.5 hours for a return trip. For a particularly impressive view, visit after heavy rainfall when the falls are at their most powerful.

Snow Fall At Mount Donna Buang

Only 30-minutes for Warburton, we drove through the fog and watched as the patches of sludge on the side of the road transformed into a beautiful blanket of white. Perfect location for a family toboggan, or to hike through the condensed landscape and admire the towering trees.

A short walk in the forest, with a 15-meter high walkway in the canopy, it was a great spot to take a stroll and take in the natural surrounds

The Redwoods

Eight kilometres from Mr Oak is one of Melbourne's best-kept mountain secrets. Planted in 1930 as part of a study by the Board of Works there are over 1450 giant Californian Redwoods growing neatly in a grid, which makes it especially pleasing to the eye. Although these giants are almost a hundred years old and range from 20–55 metres in height, they're all still relatively young. They can live for up to 1800 years and reach over 100 metres into the sky.
