With breathtaking views overlooking Mount Victoria, this 1950s home has been lovingly restored and modernised into an open plan bright space. Only a few minutes walk to the Main Street of Warburton, you can stroll into town or relax on the large deck and listen to the rich birdlife in the surrounding trees. An open kitchen with European appliances, a wood heater for cosy nights and a king bed for watching the many cloud formations drifting past makes this house a memorable getaway.
The kitchen features a large island bench, stone bench tops and European appliances to ensure memorable cooking experiences.
The kitchen opens out into the dining area and a living room with a comfy couch, flat screen smart TV and a wood heater for those cosy winter nights. The couch can be a lovely spot to watch a movie, play a board game provided or just take in the view. With a north facing aspect, sunlight filters through the double glazed windows, keeping the house warm on clear wintry days.
The bathroom includes a rain shower, underfloor heating and beautiful brass and brushed metal finishes.
There are 2 bedrooms, the master includes a king bed, built in wardrobe and a large window. The second bedroom features a queen bed. The large deck is the perfect spot for a BBQ.
Every aspect of the house has been carefully considered and designed to provide a unIque space.
Guest access:
Guests are able to use the entire house and garden.
Other things to note:
The house is built on a steep incline so there are 33 steps to get to the front door. This may be limiting for individuals with mobility issues. Also it may be easier to pack lightly for ease of getting up the steps. It is however all worth it with the view from the
top.
Children are welcome, there are however some things to note: there is no guard in front of the wood heater. There are also many steps outside so please take care.
Two cars can fit nicely in the driveway.
Please keep doors and windows without fly screens shut as there can be mozzies and flys in the summer.
The open fireplace and the old oven in the kitchen are purely for decoration.
The louvre windows are an original feature of the house and opening them up on a warm breezy day is a beautiful way to cool the house.
What we provide:
All linen including towels, hand towels, tea towels, and bed linen.
Tea, sugar, salt, pepper, oil
Plunger
Locally roasted coffee

Cloud House is true to its name. This cosy getaway will have you lost in the nature of the surrounding area and the mountains around it. It was a very relaxing getaway that is walking distance to town as well as many cool sites to see close by. We loved it. Would stay again!

The Yarra River
The Yarra River meanders through the village just a short stroll from thehamptons. Here you can enjoy a swim, a kayak, or a spot of fishing. Stop at one of the many picnic and bbq areas along the river banks and you may even spot some platypus.
