Little Bell is an eco friendly off grid glamping set up. A cosy 4 metre canvas bell tent, tucked among the red gums, home to an abundance of birds and other wildlife. An atmosphere that just begs you to relax, unwind, and take in the serenity.

Our 300-acre off-grid property backs onto the Bama Forest. This forest, together with the adjoining Barmah and Millewa forests, forms the largest River Red Gum forest in the world - it's majestic to explore. Our boundary is formed by Backwater Creek, a dry creek which fills with water when the Murray River is running high. When dry, makes the perfect walking track to The Murray River, roughly a 1 kilometer walk from your accommodation.

We offer the perfect base for exploring the region where you can hop aboard a paddle-steamer, visit waterside wineries and soak up rich riverboat heritage. Echuca Moama also have great events year round.. the Echuca Blues Festival, River Boats Music Festival, Pop and Pour and Moama Lights to name a few.

Little Bell is complete with a queen size bed with beautiful linen. And only 15 meters away,  you'll get to enjoy your private, rustic ensuite with a modern twist. The flushing toilet, shower and outdoor bath with hot and cold water, use river water.
There is a concrete trough, not quite a hot tub, but definitely an inviting place to soak on a warm day!

We use solar power for our 12v system.

We supply the following:

Camp kitchen

Amazing little set up only 10-15 minutes drive out of Echuca-Moama that I can’t recommend enough! It’s got a little of everything you need but is convenient enough that you’ll be busy soaking up the a...rea either way. Kerry was super communicative and the site was so nice I could have easily spent another few days sitting by the fire. Definitely hoping to come back to this one! :)

We had an absolute fantastic stay at 'little bell'

Relaxing, quiet, and lux all in the middle of nowhere.

We enjoyed the bath under the stars, the comfy bed, the outdoor shower, and all the little... details that Kerry and Ben have thought of. Its the little things and they have thought of it all.

We like trying different things, but we will be back.

We are the Wood family. We moved to Moama with our three boys and beautiful dog 5 years ago. We are really enjoying the process of developing our property, and loving creating fun and unique camp sites for travellers keen to experience Echuca Moama staying in a unique private setting :)

Wandering Through The Historic Town Of Echuca

Echuca was a lovely slow wander. Heritage streets, local shops, and that warm country charm that instantly makes you feel welcome. And with the VIC–NSW border right there, you can literally step between two states as you explore.

Horseshoe Lagoon

Horseshoe Lagoon is one of more than 7,000 wetlands along the Murray River. The area includes a ‘horseshoe’ shaped lagoon, a billabong and a small depression that fills during high rivers. Bring your own canoe and check water levels and access before you go. Fishing in the Murray is good with Cod, Silver Perch and Yellow Belly being the main catches.

Summer in Echuca is all about the Murray River, we found a perfect picnic spot at Moama Beach to play with our kids and refresh from the heat.

Echuca Farmers Market

Before a long day of cooking, we headed to the farmers market in the nearby town Echuca. The market, which occurs every first and third Saturday, was filled with local produce, purveyors, and live music.

Hopping On A Paddlesteamer Cruise

Gliding down the Murray on one of Echuca’s iconic paddlesteamers was such a peaceful way to see the river, with the gentle chug of the engine and the wide, calm water setting the pace.
