Yarrawood Estate Winery

We stopped in to try some local wines - just a 5 minute drive from the cottage. We didn't know what we were in for!

This place is perfect for everyone who loves great wine with a relaxed atmosphere.

Tash took us through a tasting of their entire wine list. We enjoyed hearing about the team behind Yarrawood and the process of winemaking. She also was giving us great insight into the sweet life of country living.

Good chats, friendly staff, awesome wine - what more could you want.

Songbird Cafe Larder

This little cafe is open late and makes the perfect spot to stop and enjoy a late woodfire pizza after a hike in the surrounding Yarra Valley. The cafe also has a little op-shop full of vintage treasures.

Roadside Fresh Fruit Stalls

Depending on which way you head out there will be various fresh fruit stalls on the side of the road outside orchards. We grabbed a bag of apples and avocados for our stay, they were delicious!

We came here to satisfy our ice cream cravings and boy were we satisfied! A vast range of ice cream flavours, free chocolate samples and plenty of food and coffee options surrounded by picturesque surroundings overlooking the fields

A lovely little spot to soak in the views, have a picnic and wonder

Bowden Spur Mountain Bike Area

Shepherds Trail is a varied technical downhill trail to challenge the abilities of experienced riders. It has a number of dirt jumps, rock gardens, bomb holes, flowing earth berms and contains large sections of off-camber riding. The total drop along the length of the trail is 233 metres. The trail is recommended for experts only as it runs over very challenging terrain and includes frequent obstacles. It has the extremely difficult rating of Double Black Diamond.
