TINY HOUSE DETAILS
Little Yarra Tiny House has been built with sustainability in mind and endeavours to tread lightly with a composting toilet and 100% rainwater usage. Access is via a seperate driveway and the dwelling is far enough away from the main homestead so that guests can experience privacy and seclusion.
Little Yarra Tiny house is situated on 30 acres in the Yarra Valley close to lots of walks, wineries, bike trails and great restaurants and cafés. Guests can explore the farm where they will meet cows, chooks and sometimes a koala in the gumtrees near the tiny house.
The architecturally designed Tiny house is fully equipped with all the mod cons necessary for a comfortable and relaxing stay. A large deck wraps around the house, where guests can enjoy the views of the farm. The mezzanine bedroom features a queen sized bed, while the compsting toilet and rainwater ensures thats the house treads lightly on the earth.
There is also a fire pit which is perfect for stargazing on clear nights.
At the bottom of the property guests can enjoy the Little Yarra River and go for a dip in the warmer months.
Beautiful towns such as Warburton (10 mins) and Healesville (25 mins) are full of activities, history and natural beauty.
*** our beautiful donkeys Izzy and Bella are moving to a new home as the are getting too difficult to look after. Thank you for your understanding ☺️
GUEST ACCESS
Guests are welcome to explore the property and The Little Yarra River is also just a short walk away.
The farm can get quite muddy when it’s been raining a bit so sturdy shoes are recommended for going down to the river.
PLEASE NOTE
Guests are also able to bring horses onto the property if, for example, partaking in a nearby event. There is a paddock next to the tiny house perfect for this.
There is also a fire pit for guests to light for a cosy night outside (Fire Pit is unfortunately not operational during the summer months due to fire restrictions)
This property is not suitable for small children as there are open stairs that could be potentially dangerous. You are welcome however to ask about bringing babies along if they are able to sleep in between you.
Also we have a strict no pet policy, apologies for that.
What I provide:
Fresh linen laundered professionally (towels, linen, tea towels, hand towels, bath mat)
Tea, sugar and locally roasted coffee
A plunger for coffee
Olive oil, salt and pepper
Something sweet in the fridge ☺️
Firewood and firelighters etc.

Had the best time at the Little Yarra Tiny house (btw so spacious! would have me fooled if you told us it was just a house!)
It was a stone's throw from some beautiful walks, galleries, cafes. Everything you'd want for a weekend away.
Will definitely be coming back :)))

We had a lovely stay. The house itself and the surrounding area were beautiful, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The only downside was the bathroom, which could do wit...h an update. The compost toilet also needs a better solution to control odours, as it became quite smelly after only a few uses. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it with those small improvements.

La La Falls
Follow the track through tall Mountain Ash forest and lush ferny glades, to the picturesque La La Falls. The track has a moderate grade, which can be slightly challenging; allow 1.5 hours for a return trip. For a particularly impressive view, visit after heavy rainfall when the falls are at their most powerful.
La La Falls
This little waterfall comes alive after a rainy night. The hike through lush forest is easy and only takes around 1-hour return from the car park.
Swing Bridges At Yarra River Walking Track
After grabbing a bite in town, follow the track that loops around the river for a relaxing walk. Lots of beautiful trees and swing bridges you can cross.
Mountain Bike Riding
The O’Shannassy Trail is a 30 kilometre walking and bike-riding trail from East Warburton to Don Valley in the Upper Yarra Valley. The trail runs in alongside the Warburton Rail Trail, however, the O’Shannassy Trail is set into the mountain ranges, and provides a different viewpoint to the landscape. Surrounded by tall trees, and lush ferns, the trail follows the historic open channelled O’Shannassy Aqueduct, and allows for impressive views of the Yarra Valley.
Redwood Forest
Probably one of the best-kept secrets in the hills is the forest of Californian Redwoods, Sequoia sempervirens, a few kilometres outside Warburton. The Californian Redwood trees are significant because of the history and extent of the plantation. There are over 1476 trees ranging from 20 metres to the tallest being 55 metres.
Black Spur Drive
An iconic drive winding through lush rainforest joining the Yarra Valley to the Marysville mountains. Enjoy a picturesque drive through 28 kilometers of vibrant greenery. There are stops along the road to set up a picnic and see the brilliant ferns up close.
