🌸 Please be aware that we DO NOT have an oven; we have a mini oven/air fryer, but it is a fully equipped kitchen. There is a microwave and an electric ceramic cooktop, and all pots and cookware are supplied, a toaster, etc. We also offer a picnic basket with basics, cutlery, blanket, etc - pack your own food and go.

Late check-out: LOVE A SLEEP-IN? 😴 For just $10 per hour after 10 am, enjoy a relaxing late check-out until 12 pm. Just let us know when booking, and we will inform our staff.

🌸Fully sanitised: A professional cleaning service thoroughly cleans the cottage after each stay, with extra attention to high-touch areas to ensure your peace of mind. We have implemented a COVID-19 cleaning and hygiene plan.

There is a split system in the main living area, and fans in the main bedroom for summertime. The bedrooms have their own oil heaters/electric fireplaces, and the lounge also has an electric fireplace. There are also many blankets available

🌸Bushfire safety: Warburton is in a bushfire-prone area, and on extreme fire-risk days, bookings may be cancelled for your safety. Please stay informed about local conditions and emergency protocols.

🌸The unit is adjoined to the main residence/Lodge Accommodation; however, it is PRIVATE with its own access. Other guests do not share the unit with you. Main access is via the entry foyer. Turn left upon entry, into your own accommodation. Walk the property as you please; the gardens are shared with other guests

Please note that Warburton is in a heavily forested and mountainous area and on state Fire authority-rated ‘Code Red’ and ‘Extreme Fire Days’. We will not be taking bookings, and travel to the area is not recommended. We will review current bookings for those days and reserve the right to cancel bookings, with a full refund or return booking provided. We will contact guests via email and provide as much notice as possible based on weather forecasts. The safety of our guests is a priority. If guests are staying at Riverlin and an emergency bushfire situation arises, we will do our best to contact you directly to alert you. However, it is our guests' responsibility to keep themselves informed of local conditions and emergencies and act accordingly. We ask that every guest read our ‘Bushfire Emergency booklet’ located in the house and download the ‘Vic Emergency’ app when staying during our warmer months (Oct-March). This will alert you if any emergencies are affecting Warburton and give advice on when and how to act

Riverlin Cottage is the perfect place for a lazy break away for a couple or small family, or group of friends. The cottage is located on 2.5 acres on the Yarra River, just 4 minutes from the town of Warburton and a 4min drive to the Redwood forest! We collaborated with Yarra Valley Bathhouse to offer a private 90-minute bathhouse experience with your stay. Simply walk down the hill to the river and enjoy It has views of the mountains and the courtyard gardens, located in a quiet part of Warburton

The morning sun cast a gentle glow over the mountains as we made our way to the Warburton Riverside Walk. The scent of pine and fresh mountain air filled our lungs, and we couldn’t help but smile at the peaceful serenity around us. As we strolled along the winding path, the sound of the Yarra River gently flowed beside us, its crystal-clear water reflecting the vibrant greens of the forest.

Tall trees swayed in the breeze, their leaves whispering softly above us. We paused to take in the view—wildflowers dotted the landscape, and birds flitted from branch to branch, their songs echoing through the air. It was the perfect moment to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature.

Each step along the Riverside Walk seemed to lead us deeper into a world untouched by time. The trail wound its way beside the river, and we could hear the water trickling over the rocks, creating a soothing soundtrack for our journey. We marveled at the lush greenery that surrounded us—everything felt alive and vibrant.

As we continued our walk, we felt the calmness settle into our souls, the weight of the world lifted by the simple beauty of nature. This was more than just a walk—it was a reminder to slow down, breathe deeply, and appreciate the small moments that often pass us by. Warburton had truly woven its magic around us, and we were grateful for every step of the journey.

Wondering Warburton

Such a beautiful town especially during the time we visited in autumn! We walked along loop of the Yarra River and stopped off at a cafe and the famous Warburton lolly shop! Loved seeing all the beautiful artworks along the street as well as checking out the op shops!
