The ensuite bathroom has a double corner spa with luxury Ena botanical toiletries and homemade bath soaks. There is a separate toilet for privacy.
With two separate lounge areas, there's plenty of room to find your favourite spot. Curl up beside the wood fire overlooking the valley, settle in for a movie (disney, USB movies provided) or whip up a cocktail from the vintage bar and put on some vinyl to set the scene.
The generous, fully equipped kitchen, oversized island bench and two dining areas are perfect for leisurely breakfasts, romantic dinners and simply enjoying the pleasure of staying in.
We even have a little in-house shop where you can purchase some locally made products, our own handmade linen sprays and candles or a local gift.

Important Booking Information
Couples stays: Maximum of 2 guests, with one queen bedroom and ensuite bathroom made available. The entire house is exclusively yours with access to all the living, dining, kitchen, laundry and outdoor spaces to enjoy. As this is just a stay for 1 or two, extra bedrooms and bathrooms will not be made accessible (unless prior arranged). If you would like to book the entire 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom house for larger group stays, then please see our 'Gingers on the Hill' listing.
Separate bedrooms: For two single guests requiring separate bedrooms, an additional $100 cleaning and linen fee applies. Please note only 1 ensuite bathroom will be made available.
Infants: Children under 2 are welcome by arrangement. Children's rooms can be made available for an additional $100 cleaning fee.
Visitors: Additional visitors must be approved in advance and may incur a fee.
Wedding stays: We do love a good wedding but unfortunately, we are not suitable for wedding party or wedding party guest stays due to the nature of the narrow, one-way street, bus pick-ups and drop offs and the increase in car parking requirements for wedding stays.
We love welcoming guests for honeymoon stays of course.
Please note a security camera is located only in the driveway and carport areas. This is for security purposes only and does not view any part of the house or garden areas for guests' privacy.
Unfortunately, we are not suitable for pets due to local wildlife and unfenced gardens and guests with pet allergies.
Accordance with riparide guidelines, parties or events are not permitted.
Please notify us prior to booking of any commercial photography shoots, additional fees may apply.
Receive a 50% refund of the total booking amount (minus service fee) up until 1 week prior to check-in.

BUSHFIRE INFORMATION
Warburton is in a heavily forested mountain area and our main priority is to ensure our guests safety.
We ask that every guest read our ‘Bushfire Emergency booklet’ located in the house and download the ‘Vic emergency’ app, and set a 15km radius around Warburton. This will alert you if any emergency situations are affecting Warburton and give advice on when and how to act.
During our summer period If CATASTROPHIC fire danger days are predicted, bookings will be cancelled for guests' safety, and full refunds will be issued for these days. If extreme days are predicted and we feel it is unsafe for guests to be staying during this time, bookings will be cancelled, or guests will need to checkout early. Full refunds will be issued for cancelled nights. We will give as much prior notice as possible.
We will always attempt to contact guests if we are made aware of Emergency situations, but it is our guest's responsibility to be self-informed via the Victorian government safety alerts as communication with our guests may be restricted.
ACCESSABILITY
There are some steps at the front of the property as well as to the backyard so this may be limiting for individuals with mobility issues. The house itself is all one one level without any steps internally. Guests can also access the house via the concrete driveway (quite steep) rather than use the stairs.
We are more than happy to accommodate those with accessibility needs where possible and we encourage guests to enquire directly so we can pass on more detailed information.

We love everything about the Yarra Valley and it’s surrounds And it’s a pleasure to share our house with those wanting to explore Warburton and it’s many things to do. As a family, we’ve spent precious moments here, adventures on bikes, exploring the snow on skis and toboggans, bush walks along the River and up the mountains. It never gets boring. We have experienced the positives of staying in others properties so have gained some valuable insight into guests expectations and standards, and we have tried to provide that little bit extra. It certainly makes us happy to see people enjoying all the the things we love about ‘Gingers on the Hill’ and the stunning town of Warburton.
Warburton is blessed with waterways. From the mighty Yarra River that runs through town to several nearby streams, creeks and waterfalls you'll be sure to find a peaceful spot to relax and watch the day go by.
After breakfast we stretched our legs with an incredible little walk from Mr Oak, down to the water along some of the freshest sections of the Yarra River. From bridge to bridge at either end of Warburton is a 2.5km path that passes right by the centre of town should you need any supplies.
After grabbing a bite in town, follow the track that loops around the river for a relaxing walk. Lots of beautiful trees and swing bridges you can cross.
