HOUSE DETAILS
The property has recently been restored from the ground up. Careful respect has been paid to the house’s original heritage with the addition of a modern day twist to ensure that all of the essential luxuries have been included.
The House consists of three large bedrooms with queen size beds each (Please note that our bookings are based on twin share) with its own style and collections, spacious lounge room with open wood fireplace, inviting dining room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with original claw foot bath and separate toilet.

Fitted out with refrigerated cooling heating, top quality bedding and linen, guests are guaranteed to have a comfortable stay. Guests can spend their first morning relaxing in the house by enjoying the breakfast that is provided. Fresh eggs, bread, local spreads, muesli, juice as well as an assortment of teas and coffee are available to feast on.

The bespoke furniture and homewares found in the house are the result of years of collecting and have been sourced from all over country Victoria.
Lush greenery and high fences surround the backyard ensuring complete privacy during your stay. The backyard comprises a huge lawn area with large deck and undercover entertainment area. The carport also ensures secure parking for guests and ample room for boats.

Wedding Accomodation Bookings
House of Figs has become a popular property for those wanting the perfect place to get ready and have photos taken on their big day. We go above and beyond to make sure that our wedding guests have a truely memorable stay.

We ask that wedding guests please read through the following information which needs to be adhered to in conjunction with our standard house rules.

All wedding bookings require the whole house to be booked for a two night minimum regardless of the number of guests staying. Please simply select 6 guests when completing your booking.
Due to the volume of extra people utilising the the house for preparation on a wedding day- bridal party, make up artists, hairdressers, photographers, videographers, friends and family who visit we require all wedding accomodation guests to book the whole house

Our place is perfect for getting photos taken on your special day both in and outside of the house. If you are wanting access to the property for photos to be taken prior to our 2pm check in time on your wedding day, we highly recommend that you also book in with us the day before.

As written in our rules unfortunately we are unable to cater for any post wedding events of any size at the property. If you are thinking of hosting something on the following day with your guests and need any location suggestions please let us know and we would be more than happy to send you some through.

Our place is perfect for one side of the bridal party to get ready with full length mirrors found in each of the bedrooms. The bathroom and seperate vanity area also have three mirrors with power points, two of which have basins.

As written on our listing, our check out time is at 10am however if we do not have any guests checking in the same day we will do our very best to aim to give you a later check out time. We know that no one wants to get up early after their big day! Better yet if you book in an extra night you will have guaranteed time to relax and enjoy our property as a married couple.

Located only 600m from both the lake and main street there is limited need to drive however the carport and driveway has room to park up to 4 cars or boats securely....

I spent my early years growing up in Yarrawonga and to say the very least, I feel extremely lucky to have. As it’s such a special place we wanted to share it with others so the idea of House of Figs was born. We have crafted what would be our prefect stay and we can only hope that our guests love it as much as we do. When I’m not spending time relaxing under the Fig trees, I’m living life on our big, beautiful cropping farm just out of town with my little family. By day I’m an Outdoor Ed and PE teacher at a secondary school but by night I share my time as a Mum, wife and my love for interiors, restoring old furniture and getting creative. We love to travel both in luxury style but are so also beyond happy to completely rough it.…
