We stayed at the Art House for 2 nights. Sioux gave us a warm welcome and kindly offered to give us a tour around her home/studio and grounds. Our Airbnb was lovely, clean and cosy! We were amazed by ...the uniqueness of the property, and Sioux’s creativity. We were given lots of recommendations on what to do in the area, all of which we loved! Would definitely recommend!

Had the most tranquil weekend in Warburton in Sioux's stunning home. Waking up to the rosellas on the grass right outside the window was beautiful, and when the weather turned on the second day, it wa...s so incredibly cosy to be curled up inside looking out across the little rain-washed gully. Sioux was lovely, and although regrettably we didn't get a chance to take her up on her offer to show us around the rest of her home and studio, it was lovely to know we had such a generous and welcoming host.
A magical escape from the rat race! Multiple friends and family members are now planning to book here after seeing our photos :)

Veggie Garden Art Studio
Feel free to wander through the gardens and take a hop skip and a jump to my art studio where I create my magical ferro cement, mosaic garden sculptures and run weekend workshops. (Dates available - please enquire) Help yourself to whats in season in the veggie garden.
Art Healing Workshop
Located on the property is an art studio created by Sioux. Robyn and I attended her 3-hour healing workshop that gave us such inner goddess strength. We walked away feeling so sure of ourselves and oh so relaxed. The outrageously talented Sioux began the class with some meditation and then we began painting our masterpieces! Along the way, Sioux taught us different art techniques and guided us if needed. We sipped chai tea and finished the class off with some homemade crumble created by the Sioux herself! So delicious.
This workshop does come with an extra fee although we highly recommend giving this art healing workshop if you are looking for a relaxing, calm experience. We loved every minute of it, and it was such a loving gift to give to one's self. We even got to take home our canvas creations too!

La La Falls
Follow the track through tall Mountain Ash forest and lush ferny glades, to the picturesque La La Falls. The track has a moderate grade, which can be slightly challenging; allow 1.5 hours for a return trip. For a particularly impressive view, visit after heavy rainfall when the falls are at their most powerful.
Mouth Watering Goodness To Need In Your Life
We heard such good things from the locals about the South India Restaurant ‘Babajis Kerala Kitchen’ in the Main St of Warburton. And those recommendations didn't disappoint. It was absolutely delightFULL and a must try experience my friends! We got a shared platter which included several different types of curries so we could taste them all! We finished our evening with some incredible mulled wine by the fire. Beautifully designed inside too, and Campfire curry night in Friday night if you want to try a different dining experience.
Wondering Warburton
Such a beautiful town especially during the time we visited in autumn! We walked along loop of the Yarra River and stopped off at a cafe and the famous Warburton lolly shop! Loved seeing all the beautiful artworks along the street as well as checking out the op shops!
Warburton River Walk
Scenic walk along the river in Warburton. Families of ducks, wooden bridges and a waterfall discovery just to name a few treasures found!
Swimming In The Yarra Valley
The weather was warm and muggy, after we'd picked our fresh produce for dinner we decided to head to the river for a dip to cool down, located behind the shopping strip in the central part of town.
Cog Bike Cafe
We popped into the quirky Cog Bike Cafe for our early morning coffee fix which seemed to be the go-to spot for the local riders.
