A really sweet and cozy place. The fireplace was awesome and kept us warm when the outside was freezing!
The backyard was enjoyable for relaxation, with the peaceful scenery of sheep and alpacas milli...ng about. There was an issue with WiFi availability, but the owner was communicative and made efforts to resolve it. They even provided us with a small compensation. However, it was a bit sad to see the vegetation at the front of the house in a chopped-off state.

As soon as I stepped into the cottage I was in joy as it was so beautiful, modern, spacious, and cozy with the fireplace and bath. My stay was very relaxing, and I enjoyed the local area as well as e-bike provided by the hosts. Overall I loved staying here and would definitely stay again! :)

Staying at the Te Awanga cottage was time well spent. Even after surfing, cycling and wine tasting we managed to have some relaxing down time in the luxury cottage.
I recommend this get away for an...yone who wants to experience Hawks bay at its finest with gorgeous coast lines, delicious food and a great location not far from the beach.

Biking To Local Cafe And Petting Zoo
Using an electric bike provided by the cottage, I rode down the beautiful country road to the local shops to grab a coffee. I then continued on to find a local petting zoo – the Hawkes Bay Farmyard Zoo. There were lots of friendly animals and it was great fun for all ages.
