Additional Information

Just bring some foodie bits to get started as we are a 7 minute drive back to Yarra Junction where all the shops you’ll need are located. Also, you’ll need your own linen inc. pillow slips. We’ve got the rest covered. It’s warm and cosy in winter and cool and breezy in summer. And there’s a bar fridge at the ready for all the ‘cool stuff’.
It is a working farm so expect some activity from time to time. Maybe a tractor going past or some sheep (with spring lambs), grazing nearby.

Great setting with a really hospitable host! Unfortunately the site badly needs maintenance. When we visited the hot water service to the caravan was broken, requiring a 100 m walk to an outdoor shower and the kitchen sink tap had a significant leak. Overall pleasant but could be so much better.

We had a wonderful stay at the Yarra Valley Rustic Farm Stay. Everything we could possibly have needed was supplied, Michael was super welcoming and accommodating, the place itself was very warm and c...omfortable. The views were beautiful, many great outdoor activities are a short drive away. We had a great time!

Hi there, I’m Michael and I’ve lived in the Yarra Valley on our slice of paradise for 25 years now. Marketing and Tourism has been the corner stone of my business for many years and we thought it was time to share the farm with others - so along with my Private Tours business we are now offering a unique Farm Stay experience in ‘Bailey’ our old English Van and extended annexed rooms. Come say hi, chill out in the Valley for a few days, revive and refresh. We know you’ll love every moment.

Blue Lotus Water Garden

I've always wanted to check out this place - 14 acres of water gardens filled with gorgeous lotus flowers and waterlilies. I could have spent all day in here!

La La Falls

This little waterfall comes alive after a rainy night. The hike through lush forest is easy and only takes around 1-hour return from the car park.

The Flying Apron Patisserie

Located a 15-minute drive from Warburton in the neighbouring township of Wesburn is the kind of patisserie that quickly found its way onto our permanent pitstop list. Their Swiss trained pastry chef/magician makes some of the tastiest treats in the state. If you play your cards right and plan your road-trip pitstops to coincide with their operating hours (6am-2pm, Wednesday to Saturday) then one could theoretically stop on the way there and on the way back, just saying.

Bike Riding

One of the most iconic trails in the country, the Lilydale-Warburton Rail Trail travels from the Dandenong Ranges through to the Great Dividing Ranges. Stretching 38 kilometres, the trail is perfect for keen cyclists looking to explore the region. With grades varying from easy to moderate and relatively good conditions, those planning to take the journey will be treated to spectacular views throughout the duration.

Shiprock Falls

Shiprock Falls starts as stream exiting a cleft in the rock face. It cascades over massive granite boulders. A viewing platform allows a safe glimpse of the falls. For the able bodied a track down to the creek reveals bright greens of the moss covered boulders.
