Part of The Vale Penrose—an established boutique farm stay welcoming guests since 2019—the Villa offers a balance of contemporary design and rural tranquillity, with expansive interiors and uninterrupted views over rolling hills.

The Villa’s open-plan living area is generous and light-filled, centred around a state-of-the-art kitchen with an oversized island—perfect for slow mornings, long lunches, or relaxed evenings in.

A large leather sofa and 55-inch Samsung The Frame Smart TV create a comfortable space to unwind, while the indoor fireplace brings warmth and atmosphere during the cooler Highlands' evenings.

Whether you’re preparing a simple breakfast or a more indulgent meal, the kitchen is thoughtfully appointed with everything you need:

A selection of breakfast provisions is provided, including fresh eggs from the farm, allowing you to enjoy a relaxed start to the day.

Set within its own private wing, with its own separate climate controlled air-conditioning, the king bedroom is designed as a calm and inviting retreat, complete with premium linens and a Smart TV for quiet evenings in.

The Villa is proudly pet-friendly, with approximately 1,800 sqm of fully fenced, manicured lawns where dogs can roam freely and safely. Whether chasing a ball or exploring the grounds, your four-legged companions will enjoy the freedom to stretch their legs while you relax in the peaceful Southern Highlands setting.

A luxury farm stay experience

Guests are invited to explore the full five-acre property, including its manicured gardens and open spaces. Along the way, you’ll encounter our resident animals—chickens, ducks, sheep, and alpacas—adding a gentle rural charm to your stay.

Privacy & hosting

The Villa is completely private, with its own access via a separate driveway and parking directly outside.

We split our time between Sydney and the property, with a separate residence on site. While the Villa is positioned to ensure maximum privacy, we are always available via phone or Airbnb should you need anything during your stay.

The Vale Penrose is home to three private, standalone accommodations:
The Villa, The Pavilion, and The Studio, each designed for two guests.

For those travelling with friends or other couples, the properties can be booked together—offering a unique option for small group getaways while maintaining individual privacy.

Located in the quiet village of Penrose, The Vale offers a peaceful countryside setting just 1 hour and 45 minutes from both Sydney and Canberra.

The Southern Highlands’ most loved destinations—including Bowral, Berrima, Moss Vale, Mittagong, and Kangaroo Valley—along with wineries, restaurants, and national parks, are all within easy reach.

Guest access
You will have the entire Villa to yourself. The Villa is accessible through a private road which runs along our manicured gardens. Parking is available just outside The Villa.
During your stay you are welcome to roam around our garden, meet the resident animals and enjoy the best that the Southern Highlands can offer.
