Privacy in Paradise
Adventure in Matakana, Auckland, Auckland, NZ
Hidden in the hills surrounding Matakana, you'll find pure peace and quiet at Matakana Retreat's off-grid African Safari Glamping. We've never felt quite as comfortable being unplugged as we did staying in this little piece of paradise.
Our evenings were spent around the fire and then rolled into more relaxation under the stars with a glass of wine in the outdoor bathtub. With electric blankets and a wonderfully comfortable bed, we were more than content inside the tent for the night and struggled to leave the warm covers in the morning.
The kitchen was fully equipped and even included a beautiful selection of quality teas. It was a struggle to leave the comfort of the glamping site, but when we did, we made our way to the local markets, brewery and walking tracks.
This stay had us feeling relaxed, rejuvenated and grounded after our stay and we have been telling all our friends and whanau about it ever since. We cannot recommend this experience highly enough!...
