Escaping to this luxury cabin in the snowy mountains was the perfect escape from day-to-day life. The cabin is surrounded by snow-capped mountains in the winter month, rich with abundant wildlife, and views from the property over the Kosciuszko River and valley. Originally a historic blacksmith's shed, it has been beautifully re-designed and furnished for comfort and coziness, with a spacious room perfect for two.

Mornings began with a coffee in bed next to the warm indoor fireplace, enjoying stunning views through the expansive windows - with wallabies and deer grazing on the grass right in front of the deck. We explored the property and enjoyed sunset drinks and a picnic down on the bench overlooking the valley.

Being only 15 minutes from Jindabyne, we cruised into town along the country roads for breakfast, and a taste of the local beers at the brewery. We took a scenic 45min drive up to the ski fields to enjoy the slopes and a snowy walk through the village. Our favourite part was enjoying the evening around the outdoor fireplace before chilling out back in the cabin with board games and dinner.

Jimboolan Cabin provides the perfect balance of slowness and luxury, offering a memorable weekend escape. Can't wait to stay again!
