Bella Amore
Adventure in Yarra Glen, Yarra Valley, VIC, AU
As Birrawung makes its way from the mountains towards the outer reaches of Melbourne it flows through dry golden farmlands and lush vineyards. Resting between this juxtaposition is the village of Yarra Glen; a little town in the heart of Yarra Valley's food and wine region, and the home of our riparide: Bella's Cottage.
With its own alpine spa and timber barrel sauna we arrived at Bella's ready for relaxation. Making our way through its beautiful indoor spaces we were overcome with a sense of luxury that simultaneously oozes with rustic charm; a nod to the area's history.
There's a beautiful stone fireplace, laid ready to be lit and a pool table across from it lending itself to group gatherings just as much as our romantic getaway. With four bedrooms and an optional tiny home beyond the hot tub, Bella's tempted us to fire up the group chat and plan a return with friends, doggies also gratefully invited!
Just a short venture from this classy lil entertainer is Zonzos winery where we discovered a generous offering of unfussy Italian to feast on for a beautiful long lunch. We sipped pinot, savoured incredible woodfired pizza and admired the view of luscious grapevines and the rolling hills of nearby Healesville.
As the sun lowered in the sky we made our way back to Bella's where I sunk deep into the claw foot bath before crawling under the covers of the softest most lavish linen. Any craving for luxury had definitely been cured!
