Nightcap Treasures
Adventure in Dorroughby, North Coast, NSW, AU
Nestled in the heart of Nightcap National Park sits The Loggers Cabin, a beautiful, quaint, light-filled wooden cabin complete with outdoor fire pit, stunning views, cosy fireplace, bathtub, fantastic coffee, excellent cooking facilities, and ample amounts of well-loved books and board games to fill your evenings.
Our intention with this trip was to disconnect from our screens, immerse ourselves in nature, and fill our days with only things that felt good. The Loggers Cabin provided for us perfectly. Although there is fast wifi available at the cabin, the cabin perfectly caters for those wanting a digital detox.
We spent our days hiking through Nightcap National Park (many walks within a 5-10 minute drive from the cabin), swimming in natural pools, sipping coffee out on the cabin deck, stargazing by the outdoor fire pit at night, treating ourselves to wonderful lunches at the nearby Federal Doma Cafe, taking the drive to the coast for ocean swims, and playing card games by the indoor fireplace at night.

The beautiful drive down to Byron Bay from The Loggers Cabin is well-worth the 50 minute travel time. Through stunning winding country roads you'll reach the sandy shores of Byron Bay.
