Chasing Waterfalls at MacKenzie Falls

Waterfall in Zumsteins, VIC
100% Recommended
It was a crisp morning when we set out for MacKenzie Falls in Grampians National Park. The sun lit up the bushland as we arrived at the trailhead, and we felt excited about seeing the falls. At the lookout platform, we heard the roar of the waterfall. There it was—a powerful cascade pouring into a clear pool below, surrounded by ancient rocks and green plants. We wanted to get closer. The path down to the base was steep and challenging, but when I reached the bottom, the mist from the falls felt refreshing. Looking up at the stunning waterfall, we felt small yet alive, amazed by the sound of the rushing water.
