A Stay Above the Clouds
Adventure in Warburton, Yarra Valley, VIC, AU
From the moment I arrived at Cloud House, I couldn't stop looking out at the gorgeous mountain view. Perched high on the hillside, it truly feels as though you're floating amongst the clouds. It was one of those places that instantly made me slow down, take a deep breath, and appreciate the beauty of simply being surrounded by nature!
I spent my mornings rugged up on the deck with a hot coffee, watching the mist drift through the mountains before the sun slowly lit up the valley. Inside, the house felt warm, welcoming and beautifully open. The spacious kitchen is perfect for cooking up a storm, while the comfy lounge and master bedroom made it almost impossible to look away from the scenery outside.
Although it feels wonderfully secluded, it is easy to wander into the heart of Warburton. I spent time browsing the town's quirky little shops, admired the magical Boinga Bob's Treehouse, then headed out to explore some of the region's most beautiful natural spots. Walking beneath the towering Californian Redwoods felt like stepping into another world, while the Rainforest Gallery and O'Shannassy Aqueduct Trail were peaceful places to slow down and reconnect with nature.
Cloud House is more than just somewhere to stay - it's a place that invites you to pause, reconnect, and leave feeling completely refreshed, with memories of those breathtaking views long after you've returned home.
