We have always loved the idea of a tiny house. There's something romantic about the notion. So we decided to take a mid-week break and stay at Great Forest Tiny Retreat! We were not disappointed!

As soon as we arrived, we were in love. It's everything we wanted it to be. The view was breath-taking. The stillness of the mountains in the distance was something to behold. We watched the rain pitter-patter on the surface of the natural pool whilst we drank from the selection of tea provided.

The tiny house felt surprisingly spacious. Even Xave who's 6"3ft managed to get around effortlessly. The whole house has been thoughtfully filled with everything you might need! We were excited to get into the welcome hamper. The local cheese's and wine will not disappoint and is well worth it!

If you're lucky, you'll come across Hamish, the host's friendly dog. A black lab with the longest legs and an obsession with playing fetch with a stick. We spent hours throwing the stick for him and having a laugh.

Warburton has that small country town charm with wonderful trails, picnic areas, river walks, mountain views and great local businesses. We spent the next couple of days exploring what the area had to offer. Even in the rain, we loved every moment.

We highly recommend this romantic getaway!
