Byron Lighthouse
Walk in Byron Bay, NSW
After breakfast in Byron, we decided to check out the lighthouse, as it's a pretty iconic location in this part of the world. Fun fact, it's the most easterly point on the Australian Mainland ;-)
Once we finally got a car park on Lighthouse Road, we soaked in the views from the lighthouse but also continued down the Cape Byron Walking Track. This path takes you all the way down to the ocean if you follow it once it turns into Little Wategos Track. I highly recommend you take the extra effort and bring your beach gear as a reward at the end of the hike. I also recommend you bring spare camera batteries (unlike me), as this area is stunning.
