Evergreen Escape - Relaxing Oregon Coast Farmhouse

The Evergreen Escape is a unique property set on 10 acres. Relax on the porch, enjoy s'mores on the campfire or shoot hoops on the large basketball pad. Relax in the sunroom and sip your morning coffee; you might see a deer or 2 wander by. If interested, please enquire about 30-day rentals during the off-season.

Please note: This property is not set up for additional adults beyond 4 due to bed configuration and intent to keep noise to a minimum out of interest to our permanent resident neighbors.

This house is a one-level home, but has some steps between various rooms (i.e., sunken living room).

The Evergreen Escape is our second home which we are excited to share with you. It is a magical and special place. Out of respect to our lovely and kind permanent resident neighbors, we ask for you to treat the property with respect and be mindful of any impact your visit would have on the neighborhood. With this aim, we have set up the following rules:

Maximum occupancy is 4 adults for a total of 7 including children ( excluding infants under age 2). No additional guests are allowed on the property ( even for a day visit) without the owner's explicit permission.

No Dogs are allowed; please note, however, this is not a hypoallergenic home as dogs have visited this home.

Maximum of 3 vehicles.

No parking or driving on lawn areas. ( It could damage our septic system).

The house is on a septic system - Only flush human waste and toilet paper. Do not drain grease or oil into sink.

Quiet Hours are 10pm-8am.

Absolutely no fireworks on property.

Please drive slowly on McCormick Garden Road when entering and leaving the property out of respect to our neighbors and wildlife ( deer and elk)

The firepit may be closed if a burn ban is in place- we will notify you. Please plan on providing your own firewood. If there is extra wood near the fire pit or in the carport, you are welcome to use that wood. Do not take firewood from other parts of the property.

Please place garbage and recycling in labeled garbage cans in the carport and make sure the lids are secure. We are located in a setting where rodents and smalls animals will be attracted to unsecured garbage or recyclables.

There are exterior cameras on the house which are not in use during your stay. We use these cameras for periods when the property is not occupied.

Please be respectful of neighboring property and do not wander onto neighbor's land. Refer to the property map posted and in the guest book.

Our property is located on a ridge and the sound carries. Please be mindful of neighbors, even though you cannot see them. When outside socializing, please respect the quiet hours.
