Enjoy this welcoming four-bedroom French Colonial style home, expansive flat lawn, tranquil native trees and super relaxing, extra-large indoor/ outdoor room.
It's hard to leave once you get there, but stunning beaches, walks, wineries are 10 - 20 minutes away. Great coffee, yoga classes, meditation sessions and beauty treatments and are tucked away at locations nearby. And, should you need anything else, it is just a five minute drive to gorgeous Matakana Village with its bars, restaurants, cinema, exquisite boutique shopping and Saturday Famers Market. Or, it. is five drive minute in the other direction to the town of Warkworth.

Additional Information
Guests have access to the entire property and children have as much space as they like to run around. The fantastic, expansive lawn is ready-made for family cricket, croquet and football - all at the same time if you wish! It is also very easy to wander off and venture down to the river.
The big room is a perfect place to chill out, take a nap, watch the big screen TV or bring out your yoga mat.
Dogs are very welcome and we are more than happy for your dog(s) to be kept safe in the sheltered outdoor run just outside the master bedroom. However, guests should know the property is not fenced.
There is also no fencing between the house and the river which is across the lawn and down quite a steep bank through the trees.
The 4th bedroom is very popular because it gets both morning and afternoon sun, but it is separate from the main house (6 metres from the front door) and does not have an ensuite bathroom.
It is worth noting that while, the house sleeps up to eight people, it is still a cosy, great spot for just one or two people, particularly in winter. Along with the fire in the smaller living room, there is also a very efficient central heating system that warms the whole house in a matter of minutes. It is a easy, welcoming, tranquil place to stay with everything you need to just switch off and relax.
Please do not light fires outside, on the lawn or in the forest.
Please take care when using the two indoor fireplaces.
Please lock all windows and doors whenever you leave the house.
