Welcome to Country Nirvana! This is the place of perfect peace and happiness. 25 mins east of Whangarei town, in the middle of beautiful native bush and mature fruit trees, this little cabin offers serene tranquility.

Close to Whangārei’s popular hikes and beaches, there will be plenty to explore for you during your stay. Or just wander around the property and find your spot to unwind.

This well insulated cabin was built professionally in 2020 and offers a cozy stay with an ensuite and a kitchenette with filtered water. Detached from the main house, cabin is quiet and private. If you’re travelling with a baby, there’s a portable cot available on request.

*We have now added a separate room for the guests who want to stay longer and need a "Work From Home" set-up. The room comes with speculator northerly views, large office desk, office chair and a single bed to stretch out every now and then at NO EXTRA COST*.

The property has over 150 mature fruit trees, cooking and medicinal herbs and countless flowers. Depending on our availability, we’re happy to give you a tour of the property.

As much as we encourage you to disconnect, the cabin does offer StarLink satellite internet when you need to stay connected. We have recently added a smart TV just for the days when you want to stay cuddled up in the bed and watch your favourite shows.

The nearest beach is about 10 mins and so is the famous Mt Manaia. Depending on how much you want to challenge yourself, this area offers hikes for all fitness levels.

Being away from the town doesn’t mean being away from the facilities. There is a Four Square at about 5km from the property and the area offers some beautiful cafes and a tavern. The Tavern (locally known as Pub) can be quite busy so we suggest booking ahead.

Although the cabin is not suitable for cooking, there is a small barbecue on the deck for the guests to use (additional charge apply). For our longterm guests, we’re happy to provide the bbq for free and they will also have access to a small oven in a separate area, away from the cabin.

Please Note: The separate "Work from Home" room is NOT attached to the cabin and only available for bookings that are at least 2 weeks or longer. Please notify us that you wish to work from home so we could get the room ready for you.
