Both the house itself and its surroundings are expansive, offering no shortage of space for everyone to spread out and find their happy place. Whether that's the solitude of a hammock on a quiet corner of the deck, an epic ping pong rally in the stand alone games room, a soak in the 6-person hot tub, a wander through the native bush, or unleashing your inner Master Chef in the open plan kitchen.

WHAT TO EXPECT
The house has been set up for hassle free holidays, so expect more than just the essentials or basic provisions. The modern kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm (full size fridge, microwave, electric oven, induction cooktop, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee pod machine, rice cooker, sandwich press, electric frypan, pantry with spice range, linen napkins, food wrap and more).

The two living/lounge areas feature a large selection of books, board games, DVD's and toys for your enjoyment. You're welcome to souvenir a book from our library - we're avid readers so it's regularly refreshed!

Our comfortable bedrooms are crafted for restful sleep and rejuvenation, with king coil comfort, hotel quality linens and block out blinds.

With a contemporary design, both bathrooms feature walk in showers, including one generously sized double shower for added comfort and showering fun!

SUSTAINABILITY
We care about our planet and environment and have several initiatives in place to reduce our carbon footprint. We invite you to do the same during your stay. These include:

- harvesting all water from the sky
- solar power generation (we're still connected to the grid however)
- ceiling fans to circulate air
- wood supplied from dead trees from our own native bush
- no single use plastics (our bathroom amenities are locally made)
- chemical free cleaning
- energy efficient appliances
- food composting
- recycling

INCLUSIVITY
Over the years we have been on a quest to continuously improve our offering and ensure it is welcoming and accessible for all, including participation in annual accessible accreditation program.

Our property is fully wheelchair accessible, and we offer a range of complimentary mobility aids for guests who may require these. This includes mobile hoist, adjustable bed, commode and shower chair. These are all available on a complimentary basis, and supplied upon request.

With wide open spaces, our property is the ultimate family and pet friendly accommodation. The farmhouse is surrounded by a large enclosed yard so there is lots of space to run around, kick a football or throw a frisbee, without your little people or pets escaping.

FARM LIFE
Country House Retreat is situated next to our beef farm, so there may often be farm animals (cattle, sheep, horses) grazing in the pastures nearby.

If you're keen on some close encounters with the farm animals, let us know in advance and we can ensure they're on hand during your stay! Just be aware that, if the animals are grazing on site there may be a gate or two you'll need to keep closed to avoid the animals wandering into the house yard. Just let us know if this is an issue and we can manage this accordingly.
