Welcome to “THE FAZENDA”, our quirky piece of paradise set amongst the beautiful Mudgee Wine Region of New South Wales. Why Fazenda? Well, we are an Australian/Brazilian family, and Fazenda means “farm” in Portuguese.
Whether you are looking for a quiet getaway with your family or coming with friends to experience everything that Mudgee has to offer, The Fazenda will cater to all your needs.
As soon as you enter the property, you will see the many fruit and nut trees, including our own “mini vineyard”, perfect for that ideal photo opp when in season.
The house is set over several levels and sleeps 8, including 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a study if you need to action some emails.
The large balcony off the lounge room is perfect for a cheeseboard with wine or a hearty meal, as you enjoy 180-degree uninterrupted views as far as the eye can see. Be on the lookout for the many cattle, including the gorgeous Highland that you can see from the deck.
The loft area at the top of the house is perfect for those travelling with kids. We also have a cubby house and toys on the property to keep the little ones entertained.
Everyone’s favourite spot for sunset is the firepit area. Enjoy a drink and watch the amazing colours form on the horizon as the sun retires for another day. If it’s a clear night, look up for a truly breathtaking view of the Milky Way.
The Fazenda also comes complete with its very own Bar/Man Cave area, including a Pool Table, Gaming Table (BlackJack, Craps, Roulette) and several sofas to carry the festivities well into the night.

PLEASE BRING PLENTY OF SUPPLIES
The nearest Coles and Woolworths are both located in Mudgee town, which is approximately a 20-minute drive from the property. We like to arrange ‘click and collect’ from either Coles or Woolworths, so we can pick it up on our way through the town. We have olive oil, salt and pepper in the house. Please bring your own milk, butter and other condiments.
COFFEE
We have an Espressotoria Piccolo Coffee Machine and will supply 12 caps of Victoria Coffee. A variety of coffee capsule brands are compatible with the Espressotoria® System, including; Vittoria® Coffee, Caffe Aurora® and Caffe Chicco D’oro®. NOT NESPRESSO.
BBQ
We have provided a Weber BBQ for you to utilise during your stay. Please ensure you clean it after using it.
FIREWOOD
In the cooler months, you will find wood for the inside fireplace directly next to it – please review the House Manual for instructions on how to use this fireplace safely.
You will find wood for the outside fire pit on the back, lower deck.
Please do not overload either the inside or outside fires, a little wood goes a long way.
PETS
We allow dogs in the house, however they must be toilet trained and must not go in the carpeted areas of the house. Additionally, they must not be allowed on any of the furniture. Additional cleaning fees will be charged if fur is found on couches or beds. The property is not fully enclosed with fencing, so it is your responsibility to ensure your dog does not leave the property.
Cats are not allowed.

When you arrive, you will find the house manual on the kitchen bench. Please read this manual, it will include the wi-fi details, check-out instructions, emergency contact numbers, and important safety and how-to instructions.
If you love your music, please bring along you own speakers.
