Cozy Cabin @ MT Rainier: Private Hot Tub & sauna

During your stay, you will have exclusive access to our property which boosts the main cabin, private hot tub, sauna, outdoor fire pit, WIFI, smart TV (with Netflix and more), record player, indoor electric fireplace, wall-mounted air conditioner/heater, grill (summer only), well-stocked kitchen, and coffee bar.

Our hot tub is perfect for two people to soak and relax after a day of hiking in the national park. The hot tub located on the far end of the main cabin porch, so you can listen to the river behind the property and gaze up at the stars while soaking. If you prefer to sauna, we recently added a custom-made cedar sauna to the property. We hand built it ourselves in April 2022 for our guests to enjoy. This easy-to-use dry/wet sauna is located in the smaller of our two outbuilding.

Two Adirondack chairs rest around the large outdoor firepit for cozy nights around the fire. We leave a bundle of wood for your stay, and there are some outdoor blankets to keep you warm on those chilly nights outside.

Inside the main cabin you will find a well-stocked kitchen with a stove/oven (slightly smaller than normal - but does the trick), microwave, standard coffee-maker, grench press, and full-size fridge. We have salt, pepper, oils as well as coffee and tea for our guests. There is a cozy dining area which could also be used for games, puzzles, or WFH.

The open loft has a low-profile queen bed with foam mattress. The loft has a treehouse feel. You can lay in bed and gaze out into the woods behind the property. To access this loft, you will need to mind your head (duck below the overhead beam while on the landing), walk up some steep stairs, and through a narrow entrance to the bedroom. Please be careful on these stairs.

There is a comfy leather couch located in the living room that one person could sleep on, if needed. Please let us know if you will require additional bedding. The electric fireplace in the living room creates a cozy feel, and there is a flat screen smart TV (subscriptions to Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, and Amazon Prime) and record player. There are numerous games, puzzles, and coloring books inside our coffee table.

The bathroom has a stone shower with a flush toilet. There is a washer and dryer, if you need to do a load of laundry (or two). There are also two clean robes provided for use.

Just a 5 minute walk from our cabin is the community swimming hole. It's a great place to take a dip during the summer months. If you would like to enjoy the lake, you will need to bring our guest pass with you. Just hang it in your car while you play. We do provide two noodles if you would like to relax on the lake.

Cellphone service is spotty on our property. We do have WIFI which supports all your streaming and web surfing needs!

Please note, there is one additional building on the property. Currently, it is inaccessible during guest stays as it is being slowly renovated. Thank you for your understanding.

We thank you for leaving your fur babies at home. This space is not suitable for furry friends, or children.

Since we are on a septic system, we ask that guests do not flush anything other than toilet paper (and human waste) down our toilet. Thank you for being mindful of our sensitive system.
