Sustainable living at its finest! Welcome to Whales and Wombats in Cape Paterson, an award winning house and part of the multi-award winning sustainable housing ‘The Cape’. Not only is it one of the very first star rated sustainable houses, it’s also a stone’s throw to the new whale watching platform currently being built.

Whales and Wombats has 4 bedrooms, 7 beds, 2.5 bathrooms, 2 TV living spaces as well as a garden which backs onto the community gardens, dog agility park and play parks. It's a 5 minute drive to the stunning beaches, rock pools and dramatic coastline of the beautiful Bass Coast.

Downstairs:
Large open plan kitchen, dining and living room
Bedroom 1-King bed with ensuite
Additional seperate sitting room and laundry

Upstairs:
Bedroom 2- Queen bed + additional single bed
Bedroom 3- Queen bed + additional single bed
Bedroom 4- 2 x single beds
Family bathroom
Extra living area with TV

Heating/cooling in the open plan kitchen/living space
Portal fans are upstairs and portable heaters are available - please remember this is a sustainable house design.

Please note the garden is not fully enclosed for pets. We operate a 1 pet policy - please request to book if you wish to bring more - extra cleaning charges may apply. Pets must stay off furniture and bedding at all times and never left unattended at the property. We ask that you clean up after your pets, failure to pick up dog poop from the garden will result in charges. Please ask us for our pet policy.

On booking this house you will be asked to agree to our Terms & Conditions which include: No parties, No Schoolies or groups of guests under 25 years, No Hens or Bucks parties. No Smoking. This is a registered holiday house and follows the rules and regulations set by Bass Coast Shire for Short Term Accommodation Local Law1 Neighbourhood Amenity.
You will also be asked to provide Australian photo ID or passport photos in the registration process.
