Dale View Luxury Eco Accommodation

Dale View offers spacious, open plan living, comfortable furnishings, a fully equipped kitchen, large verandahs, courtyard with fire pit and BBQ area. The property is centrally located between three of our finest wine regions and only a short 15 minute drive to a selection of quality restaurants and shops, including supermarkets. Local attractions include the beautiful Goulburn River, Yea Rail Trail and a number of military museums and historic sites. We're an eco friendly property, totally "off the grid" with solar power and harvested rain water so please be mindful of power usage. Please note that we DO NOT have electric car charging facilities.

Facilities and Equipment: While we strive to make sure you have the best possible stay in our off grid property, if you have any issues with water, heat, gas and power, please call your hosts asap.

Cooking: There are various methods you are able to use for cooking - gas stove and oven, microwave, BBQ located on the verandah or fire pit.

Refrigeration: There is a small fridge/freezer for your convenience.

Heating: We have a very efficient wood fired heater for your use with a good supply of firewood.

Cooling: The property is extremely well insulated and offers a ceiling fan for your comfort.

Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property. Please consider the fire risk and environmental impact and butt out in the vessels provided outside.

Pets: Due to rural environment and nearby livestock, pets are not permitted on the property.

Parking: A large undercover car port is available for parking.

Veggie Patch: We live on the property and have a large, caged veggie patch, fruit orchard and hen house for guests to share and browse for anything they might like to use/eat while here at Dale View.

General Information: Being far from city lights, star gazers will be delighted with the vastness of an endless sky.

Wildlife: This is a beautiful rural, environmentally friendly property and as such, there is a large range of wildlife on our 110 acres. This includes kangaroos, possums, birds, skinks, lizards, insects, long neck turtles, rabbits, the occasional wombat or emu, foxes, etc. etc. They have made their home on our property because it is the ideal place for them. Please use the internet earth or map sites to see where we live and then make your decision to stay. If you intend to make, or have made, a booking at Dale View, we assume that you’ve read this information and agree to our policy regarding ‘pests’. Any cancellation by you, either before or during your stay, due to ‘pests’ will not be refunded, and we will not be responsible for finding you alternative accommodation.
