Welcome on Wellington

UPDATE: we now have solar! We have been working hard to make our home a little more environmentally sustainable including replacing our gas central heating so we are now delighted to share we have installed solar panels on the roof and a battery to reduce our reliance on non-renewable energies.

Situated at the foot of mount Donna Buang, with views of the southern reaches of the Victorian Alpes, our three-bedroom house is the perfect place for anyone who enjoys day-time adventures and nights spent in front of a fire.

When we bought the house, we hoped to one day live in it so all the renovations we undertook were aimed at creating our own perfect getaway . The outdoor bath and shower with views of the surrounding hills was installed for Gillian who loves a bath. We made sure the kitchen was modern and had all the utensils, equipment (and coffee machine) we needed so that our guests could still eat well away from home. We turned the walk-in wardrobe into a study, complete with a wall-length desk, ergonomic chair and large screen so that people could spend time there mid-week whilst still being able to work. And as dog-owners ourselves we decided that our house should be pet friendly so that your whole family can enjoy what Warburton and the surrounds has to offer.

The three bedrooms all have bedside tables and tall boys. One has a queen bed and the other two each contain two king single beds so you can set the room up depending on your needs. The largest bedroom also has a standing desk with ergonomic chair meaning there are plenty of comfortable places for people to work. The open plan living dining area is set up for comfort and the Smart TV with Chromecast means you can log into your own streaming accounts if you fancy a night relaxing in front of the TV. We have central heating and air conditioning in all the rooms, a must for the chilly evenings in Winter and hot summer days. And the quiet back garden means you can enjoy an outdoor fire or an outdoor bath in peace.

The town and its surrounds are the perfect playground for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. There are local walks, gravel roads to explore on your bike, trails to run, a rail trail nearby, the O'Shanassy's Aqueduct trail to wander along and the winding Yarra river right on your doorstep. You're also only a 5-10mins walk into Warburton town where you can access the river trails with a coffee in hand.
