- To access your cabin up the hill there are 2 dirt roads on the property; each road is one way to assist traffic. Both our roads have recently been graded and during wet weather can be a little slippery so we ask our guests to take extra precaution during the wet. As you drive in through the gates the road to your right is one way down and the road straight ahead takes you up the hill to your cabin. When on top of the hill and leaving Kundalini Lodge the road to your left will lead you down the hill back to Windeyer Rd. Please be careful and take care driving up and down the hill.
- Please make sure that when you are out and about visiting the beautiful surrounds of Mudgee that when you leave for the day you turn off all lights and air conditioner as the cabins are only powered by solar power and we need your help in preserving power. Please do not plug any other appliances in such as hair straighteners, portable fridges, heat blankets etc... as it will trip the power to the site.
- We suggest that you do not keep your cabin sliding door wide open when you are sightseeing so you do not come back to unwanted guests in your cabin as you may be greeted by wildlife.
- The cabins are surrounded by bush land and during summer there are many bugs and flies, we do our best by having flyscreens and sprays in the cabins for your use. Having less lights on is another way to minimise bugs inside the cabin in the summer season.
- During our warmer months No fire pits are permitted to be used due to high fire risk and our policy. Due to the nature of Kundalini and being a high wind area it is at management's discretion when the fire pits can be used. This also applies to the use of BBQ's so please make sure you check the fire rating before use. Please also ensure that if you use the BBQ that you turn off the gas bottles and clean the BBQ after each use. We have installed safety valves on our BBQ so when you turn the gas bottle on you need to press the gauge to release the gas for the BBQ to operate. Please note that the statutory Bush Fire Danger Period runs from 1 October to 31 March, however it may vary due to local conditions. If you are planning to light a fire in the open during this time, you will need a Fire Permit.
- Phone reception is limited on our property, however if your phone provider uses a Telstra carrier then you should be able to receive phone reception. Also, we now have FREE WIFI at the cabins and the password is Kundalini1. Please note that from time to time we do experience internet outages due to storms or poor weather and will affect internet, TV reception and Netflix. If this does occur, we will endeavour to rectify as soon as possible and appreciate your patience. Just remember you left the big city to relax and soak in nature!
- We have provided Netflix for your entertainment in your cabin, all you need to do is log in with your cabin name.
- Complimentary tea, coffee and milk is also available for you in the cabin on your arrival.
