Additional Information
The property did indeed used to be and Old Mushroom Farm. Now you will find a lovely cosy cottage which is set up specifically for Airbnb guests to enjoy. My 12 year old daughter and I are proud to own this and also love spending time here when we can.
Features include:
- King bed in main bedroom
- Low line bunk in children's bedroom
- Lots of books and games
- 4 burner electric oven
- Kettle, toaster and microwave
- Tea and coffee provided
- Split system heating and cooling
- Ceiling fan
- TV and DVD player (plus lots of DVDs)
- Outdoor dining and seating
- Wood fire inside (some wood provided)
- Fire pit outside (please BYO wood)
- Portacot (please let me know if you require this)
- High chair
- Washing machine and dryer
There are lots of creatures that call the garden home. Over the years, I have seen wallabies, deer, wombats and even a platypus. The birds also love it and you can put some wild bird seed outside to attract the king parrots, kookaburras and cockatoos. Parrots will usually eat from your hand which is a big hit with the children. The lyrebirds may wake you up in the morning with their magical tunes, or occasionally a tap on the window (when they see their reflection).

I am blessed with beautiful neighbours who may give you a wave when you come and go!
Please note there is no WIFI.

I've been on a lot of holidays overseas and in Australia. My last overseas trip was in 2018 when I took my daughter to Europe for her 8th birthday. We were lucky to be able to stay with our friend for most of the time but did enjoy a few little side trips.
Back home and back to reality, I work part time for a women's health organisation promoting gender equity and preventing violence against women. I'm a solo mum to my 13yo who is enjoying being at high school.
I have owned my little house in Warburton for 17 years. Most of this time was with some friends, but now just on my own. I was born in Warburton and spent most of my childhood there so it is a special place. I love that I can still come back here and definitely feel like a local when I do. Our street is beautiful and everyone is very friendly and supportive of each other.
I especially love hosting young families and find it pleasing that I had a spot to keep a lot of my daughters much loved toys and books. I also like it when I get couples or single people who just want to relax and always seem to enjoy the serenity.
