Applegarth Cottage is a beautifully rustic little retreat in the rural heart of the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula. Tucked away in a peaceful pocket, this charming one bedroom farm cottage is the perfect hideaway. So close to stunning surf beaches, incredible wineries, winding bike trails and all the wonderful local taste trail adventures, yet it feels a million miles away from anywhere!

The cottage sleeps two in a luxurious king bed, with a cosy living room, cute kitchen & dining space, and a gorgeous bathroom complete with walk-in shower and clawfoot tub.

The fire pit is a beautiful spot for stargazing and marshmallow toasting, and you’ll also be able to enjoy our wood-fired hot tub for some starlight bathing!

Our curious mini highlands are always up for a chat and a carrot over the fence, and the surrounding trees are a haven for wonderful birdlife.

A scrumptious farm brekky is supplied for your first morning, including fresh eggs, milk, bread and homemade granola.

Quality linens, soft robes and special treats dotted throughout the cottage make this stay a cosy and comfortable escape.

We have a little treat for you at Applegarth Cottage! We’ll set you up for your first night’s bathing with firewood & kindling, all you have to do is stoke up the firebox and sink into the deep soaking tub for a spot of stargazing…

Option to BYO wood for further soaks, or indulge in our Wood Spa Bathing Pack*, which includes a large basket of firewood & kindling, a gorgeous spa pack from Shire House Farm, slippers and Turkish towel hire (pre-order $50).

Applegarth Cottage is one of two available on the property, and is currently set up for adults only. Its sister cottage The Station Master’s Cottage (sleeps up to 4 guests of all ages) is also listed on Riparide and can be booked separately or together with Applegarth. Pls note this property is designed for 2 adults only. If you are travelling with children, our sister property next door, The Station Master’s Cottage, accommodates up to 4 guests of all ages, and has facilities such as a portacot, high chair and fire guard.

We now have WIFI! It can be a little slow at times so if you require super fast internet you may wish to consider bringing your own mobile device.

No Pets Policy
As much as we love animals, this property is not pet-friendly as we are based in a working farm area. There is a kennels (Top Dog) and cattery just around the corner if you are looking for a temporary home for your pets during g the holidays.
