Harrys on Moodemere Two bedroom Villa

Hello and welcome to Harry's on Moodemere! For seven generations my family has farmed and produced wine on this land. My grandfather, father and I have grown up within a few hundred metres of the villas, each being born with a connection and love for the land. It was this bond that fuelled my vision for Harry's on Moodemere – a place where exploration meets fine dining, award winning wine and luxury accommodation. Having spent my life in Rutherglen outside - camping on the river flats, water skiing, riding horses and bikes and generally getting myself into mischief with my brother and sister, I have sought to create a space where guests can experience the adventures of the region whilst having a luxurious and comfortable haven to return to. Drawing upon my years of experience as a builder, I have carefully crafted each villa to harmonise with the surrounding landscape. For example, the entrance doors are made from old farm fence posts and each of the exterior bricks has been individually cleaned after being rescued from one of our paddocks that once hosted Seppelts Winery. Together with the corrugated iron exterior, every detail speaks to my life growing up on the farm. Not quite like the farmhouse I grew up in, the interiors have been inspired by a lifetime of dreams and what I consider to be the epitome of fine living. Designing the villas myself and personally travelling to pick each finish and item, I brought together all my ideas from what I’ve dreamt of, built and seen in my years as a builder. I feel the result is a place of luxury and relaxation in the midst of God’s Country. I am grateful to have the opportunity to share my own piece of paradise with you and hope you enjoy your stay and come to feel connection with the land as I have.
