Constructed from sustainable materials, the earthy tones of our mudbrick walls and slate flooring create a cozy, homely atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the surrounding natural beauty on the Bellarine Peninsula.
Perfect for couples, small families, or solo travelers looking for a peaceful retreat, place to relax after a day on the bay, our mudbrick home is a sanctuary for those seeking to connect with nature while enjoying all the comforts of modern amenities. Located in a typical suburban street, but a short drive to all the Bellarine has to offer.
Incredible Sunsets down at the Bay foreshore
Fishing on the newly upgraded Clifton Springs Pier
Take a hire boat out of Indented Head for a day of fishing.
Head to anyone of our incredible award winning wineries
Some gin tasting and charcuterie at the adults only “Whiskery”
Lunch at Flying Brick Cider house
Pack a picnic for anyone of our beach fronts or hit the grass at The Dell.
A beer or two on the new Clifton Springs Golf Club deck.
A chargrilled steak down at Drysdale Hotel.
Book into the infamous Jack Rabbit Restaurants for one impeccable view over the water.
And Portarlington for “devils donuts” hot jam donut van over the Summer period.
There is so much to do down here and more.
I bought my unique mudbrick home in 2023 and have grand plans to renovate when the budget allows.
I believe it’s a perfect little cozy spot for travellers to stay and enjoy our Bellarine Peninsula.
We have some of the best sunsets I have ever seen just a short drive from the house or a 15 min walk.
The space consists of
3 bedrooms with quality beds and freshly laundered linens.
1 king
1 queen
1 queen
The lounge has cathedral ceilings showcasing a gas log fire place.
Of course with air conditioning for the warmer months.
Although the mudbrick has amazing insulating properties keeping the home comfortable throughout the seasons.
There is one bathroom and a separate toilet.
The bathroom has a large shower space and smaller bath tub.
The kitchen whilst dated is well stocked with modern appliances, dishwasher, large fridge and gas cooking.
There is a small dining area with table for 6.
The laundry is equipped washer and dryer.
Outside you’ll find the house is behind large fencing and gates to the front of the home, with plenty of secure parking.
There is an older outdoor space with weber and outdoor couches. A lawn and washing line to hang the beach towels!
You will have access to all areas besides the locked shed, garage and some indoor locked cupboards. I may need to access the shed during your stay, but I will make contact prior if needed.
Please note that this is my home. You may find food in the cupboards or fridge/freezer but there will be plenty of space for your items. I will collate to a small section and clean the remaining shelves. Some cupboards will be off bounds as they will have my clothes inside. But everything will be cleaned and all linens and towels fresh for your stay.
A true vacation rental by owner. Not a residential property turned motel.
Also being in nature you may come in contact with bugs or spiders etc, whilst we do our best to clean to a very high standard you should be aware some things are out of our control, including nature.
Please keep the gates closed after coming and going. They will slam in the wind and break if left open.

Additional Information
Additional house rules
No smoking
No visitors or unlisted guests
Pets by approval only, please mention them in your booking request
Pets are only welcomed if the plan is to holiday with them. They must be supervised at all times. Unfortunately too many dogs have been left to bark, dig and mess up the house. So this is the only way I have been able to remain pet friendly and keep peace with my neighbours. Please don’t allow free roaming dogs in the front yard, backyard only. This prevents barking at passing dogs/neighbours.
This is a quiet space and area only. No byo speakers/hi fi systems.
Please leave the house generally tidy on check out by loading any dishes into the dishwasher and switching on, removing all rubbish to the outdoor bins, wiping over benches and returning everything to its original location.
Please send me a message on arrival and when you have checked out.
Gas is now a very expensive commodity and whilst we would love all to experience The gas log fire place. Please consider using this at appropriate times of enjoyment ( eg:evenings in ) and use the reverse cycle heating when you have children or during the day time. Please switch off all heating and cooling when not home.
Note the fire place is very hot to touch and I would not recommend with young children.
The mud brick walls are delicate, please avoid touching them.
Please don’t put the kitchen knives or wooden chopping blocks in the dishwasher.
Please remove make up with wipes to avoid staining sheets and towels.
Thank you

Recently relocated from Melbourne to Clifton Springs on the Bellarine Peninsula. Sharing my little Mudbrick home. I love sitting back and day dreaming about how I will slowly transform this space over the years. I love the way my home feels peaceful and cozy and like an escape whilst still being well connected and not isolated.
