Casuarina Tree site is at the top northern corner of the 1st Flat, next to the river. This is a large flat area close to the toilets with good shade and plenty of space for a large group. The wind through the Casuarina tree keeps bad spirits away and calms the mind. Great spot to explore the river by kayak or canoe. This is home to many endemic species of birds, reptiles, mammals and fish. 400m upstream is the old saw mill town of Brooman.
