The cabin is only 5 minutes drive or 30 minutes walk through the forest to Belgrave, where you’ll find plenty of cafés, bars, restaurants, live music, quirky shops, and, of course, the iconic Puffing Billy, or might want to take a train to Melbourne CBD (just 1 hr ride).
It is just a short walk/ drive away from numerous wonderful hikes in the Dandenongs (like Sherbrooke Forest) and is a great base to explore the Yarra Valley.
Fancy a dip or some kayaking? - Aura Vale lake (Bobs park) is just some 9 mins drive.
There are 2 kayaks you would be welcome to use.
Still haven't seen a kangaroo? - an easy 15 min drive to the Cardinia Reservoir park and there they roam freely. The place is a great spot for a picnic or a walk along the dam wall.

Guests can enjoy the garden in front of the cabin. There's a fire-pit (oil drum) just next to it.
A BBQ is right below the terrace and is also available for you to use.
