The log cabin has hosted our family for many years and now we are opening it up for everyone to enjoy. The cabin overlooks the Curdies River, located on a large block surrounded by gum trees. It is a ten minutes drive to Port Campbell, Timboon or Peterborough, making it an ideal location for seeing the Great Ocean Road and surrounds. The cabin is dog friendly, with secure fencing and a doggie door to the house. There is an open fire for those cold nights and we get regular visits from koalas.

Additional Information

The cabin is located in the little town called Curdievale, where we have a local pub, a river and that is about it. Surrounded by gum trees, the cabin is a great setting to relax or as a base for activities. If you want to get out and about then there are bikes, fishing rods and boogie boards all available for use. If you want to just relax, then we have plenty of board games and outdoor games also there.

The log cabin was built in the early 1970s and has been part of our family since 1996 when we took it on as accommodation for our staff – we had a dairy farm just up around the corner from here. As we all left home and the family farm was sold, we kept the cabin as a holiday house that we could all use. It has seen all of us live here for various amounts of time and at different stages of our lives. Many friend and family have used the cabin and everyone that comes and stays always comments of how relaxing and unique it is – I hope that you and your family will have the same experience.
