We are situated in a very quiet place, our cabin is North facing looking out over the Bay of Islands to Russell. In the evenings you can sit back star gazing, listen for Kiwis calling and in the morning listen to the abundance of native birds in our bush.
There is lots to see and do in the Bay of Islands. Waitangi museum, helicopter flights, kayaking, snorkelling, Hole in the rock boat trip with viewing dolphins, Orca, little blue penguins. Ferry to Russell for the sunset, Russell museum(original capital of NZ) to learn where the history all started beautiful restaurants, NZ's oldest fishing club & museum, lots of stunning coastal walking options.
