Situated at the foot of the Kaitake Ranges, from here you can explore nearby hiking trails, pristine beaches, and local attractions, or simply relax and reconnect with nature from the comfort of your own private oasis.

Oakura village is 3 minutes down the road, and has a Four Square, butcher, fish & chip shop, pub and a couple of nice cafes/restaurants.

New Plymouth city is 20 minutes drive.

Guest access

Guests will have exclusive access to the property and surrounds, providing a true retreat experience. Your chance to slow down and rest.

Please feel free to stroll down the main shared driveway and out onto the road but keep in mind there are private residences off the main driveway.

Please stay off any private property.

Please note:

This property is situated off a shared driveway. So, while mostly private, you may see the occasional car or person going past.

Please respect the Neighbours and the peacefulness by keeping loud noise to a minimum.

There is no wifi, no TV and not a lot of cell phone reception at the Kabana.

We are off the grid and rely on solar power, please be mindful of this if bringing any electronics.

Cooking is via the outdoor BBQ or a single gas burner inside on which you can use a frying pan, pot, kettle and camp toaster.
